1. What makes ARC products different?

Developed by professional makeup artist Alison Raffaele, Alison Raffaele Cosmetics are designed to provide maximum results with minimal effort and skill…all while being great for your skin!

2. What does naturally inspired cosmetics mean?

“Naturally Inspired Beauty” refers to both Alison’s artistic style of creating natural-looking makeup that highlights a woman’s individual beauty and style as well as Alison Raffaele Cosmetics commitment to being an environmentally-friendly company. All of our new formulas are paraben, talc, fragrance, and mineral-oil free and all of our new packaging is biodegradable, recycled, and/or recyclable whenever possible.

3. Do you perform animal testing?

No, Alison Raffaele Cosmetics does not conduct animal testing on any of its products. All of our products are tested on human volunteers and are dermatologist tested and approved.

4. Do your new “naturally evolved” formulas perform the same way as the original formulas?

Yes, the new formulas perform the same as the originals – if not better! The one change Alison made, as a result of customer feedback, was to make the Reality Base formula creamier and to have more of a satin finish. The new Reality Base’s finish can be made more matte by simply setting it with the Transparent Finish powder.

5. How do I know the product’s shelf life?

On every package there is a little picture of an open jar known as the “Product After Opening” symbol. The number in the jar represents the number of months the product is good for once the product is opened.

6. Are there any dyes in the products?

There are no dyes in the new Alison Products because they are not applicable opaque product formulas. In these formulas mineral pigments are used. In formulas where translucent colors are desired – such as Inner Glow gel blush and some Soft Glosses and Soft Shadows – FD&C (Food, Drug, and Cosmetic) dyes may be used. FD&C dyes are the same thing as food coloring.

7. What is the best way to apply the Transparent Finish To Go?

For a matte, seamless finish, try using it in small, circular motions.

8. Can I still use my Inner Glow over the new Transparent Finish?

Yes! And don’t worry if you pick up a bit of powder or foundation on your Inner Glow if you apply it directly from the tube – just wipe it off with a tissue and recap it tightly after each use.

9. What is the best way to use the new foundation brush?

Using circular motions will build up the coverage of your foundation; sweeping motions will blend it out.
