Alison Raffaele Cosmetics is as dedicated to a healthy, beautiful face as following environmentally responsible practices. As the eco-friendly alternatives available to us as manufacturers continue to increase,
we are able to make greener and better choices for our packaging, our formulations, and our overall business practices. Here is a brief list of the changes we have made to date, as well as some of the changes we are currently looking into for the future.

Now: All boxes are made from paperboard that contains a minimum of 80% post-consumer waste and is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.
Future: We’re trying to use the least amount of packaging possible. Product sleeves, made from either paper or biodegradable plastic, are being considered.

Now: The company that manufacturers the paperboard for our folding cartons is powered by 50% low impact hydro (water power) and 50% shared wind and solar power.
Future: We continue to seek out suppliers that are able to manufacture using alternative sources of renewable power.

Now: The aluminum caps on our True Concealer are made from recycled aluminum. The wooden handles on all of our brushes are FSC certified. This wood is grown in a managed forest that has committed to replanting whatever trees it takes down.
Future: We continue to look for more eco-friendly alternatives to traditional plastics for our packaging, and will continue to use renewable materials whenever the opportunity arises.

Now: All of the reformulated Alison Raffaele products are paraben, talc, fragrance, mineral oil, and gluten free.
Future: We continue to work with our chemists to find new, exciting formulations that not only work great, but are good for you and the environment.

It’s in the little things that you can make a difference.
To make the world a greener place, we only use water coolers
(and reuse the 5 gallon jugs) and use recycled paper whenever we can.
We recycle all paper and plastic and reuse bubble wrap and shipping cartons
(if they’re in good shape). Even our packing peanuts are biodegradable.
